This module will provide student with a comprehensive introduction to research methods. In this module student will be imparted with the skills needed to formulate a research problem, decide on appropriateness of different data collection methods, and acquire the skills to present his/her information in a clear, concise and logical manner.
For the purpose of data collection and analysis, this module will provide student with information on various primary and secondary data collection techniques and on qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. As a result of this module, student will be able to understand the rational for conducting research, the role of the researcher and the suitability of various techniques and methods used to assist research.
